instagramtomp4.app is a free online tool that lets you download videos from Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, and YouTube in HD quality. No watermark, no app, no login required.

Why We Built This

Every existing video downloader was either covered in popup ads, broke every time a platform updated its API, or forced you to install a sketchy app. We wanted something better: a clean, fast, reliable tool that just works.

How It Works

Our tool runs on Cloudflare's global edge network — 300+ locations worldwide. When you paste a video link, our Worker parses the platform's API, extracts the direct video URL, and streams the file to your browser for download. The entire process takes under 2 seconds.

Technology

• Backend: Cloudflare Workers (TypeScript) with D1 database, R2 cache, and KV rate limiting
• Parsing: Multi-layer fallback system — if one method fails, we automatically switch to the next
• Frontend: Lightweight HTML/CSS/JS served from the edge, no framework bloat
• PWA: Installable as an app with Web Share Target for one-tap downloads from social apps
